Frequently Asked Questions

How can I register?

Registration is done online through our Registration Page.  You will have the option to pick your t-shirt size for the ride and water bottle at one of the designated packet pick-up dates listed on the registration page. To be guaranteed a shirt/shirt size you must register before June 14, 2024. Registrations received after the deadline will receive a shirt and water bottle on a first come, first served basis. Shirt sizes will NOT be guaranteed. We have several packet pick-up dates and times to choose from. If you are not able to pick up your shirt/water bottle prior to the evening of the ride, we will have them at the ride starting at 6:00 p.m. in our registration tent.

What is the cost of the ride?

Visit the Registration Page to view fees and prices.

What distance is the bike ride?

Option 1: Short ride of 6 miles.

Option 2: Long ride of 11 miles.

Advance choice is not required, and the price is the same for either distance. You will make your decision while on the route on which one you prefer to take.

Can I pull my child in a cart behind my bicycle and do they need to be registered?

Yes, you may pull a child(ren) in a cart. Children 5 and under are free, but are still required to register.  T-shirts and water bottles are not included with this registration.

Can I pick-up my t-shirt and water bottle at the event?

Yes, if you were unable to make it to one of the packet pick-up dates you can visit the pre-registration tent beginning two hours prior to the start of the event.

Who can Ride?

All ages are welcome, but children 15 years old and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Can I get a refund if I cannot participate?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. Costs associated with the pre-planning and ordering of participant amenities well in advance of the ride prohibit us from offering refunds. In addition, refunds are not issued if the event is canceled due to severe weather, disaster or emergency occurrences that may affect the safety and health of the participants.

Can I sell or give my entry to another participant?

No, for liability this is not allowed under any circumstances.

Can I pick up another participant’s ride packet?

Yes, if you have a printout of the attachment they received via email when they registered.

Do you have any course time limit rules?

The course route re-opens to traffic on a rolling basis from the start. The last riders released will be followed by a Parks Department Staff vehicle to designate the end of the ride and reopen the course to traffic. Riders will not be allowed entry onto the course after the designated staff vehicle has left the start of the ride.
